Anker 335 Charger (67W) review: a great-value tri-port wall charger with no frills
Anker 335 Charger (67W) Review
this Anker The 335 Charger (67W) is a three-port wall plug that provides fast charging for your phone, tablet, laptop, and more.
One thing I liked about this charger from the get-go is that it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. This is actually quite rare for many wall chargers, but adds a lot of value to an already cheap product – this one costs $35.99 / £36.99 (about AU$55), but it’s often cheaper . This is certainly a welcome addition to those who only have a USB-A to USB-C/lightning cable, so if you want to get the most bang for your buck, the Anker 335 Charger (67W) is a great option .
But this plug is not only great in terms of value, but it also offers very decent charging performance. I try to charge Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and a DualSense Wireless Controller Via USB-C, it also charges the Soundcore Space One Pro via USB-A. Although all three ports are used, Samsung The phone charges from 0% to 100% in the expected time frame of approximately 80 minutes – which is consistent with how fast the phone charges The best iPhone chargers and The best Android phone chargers supply.
It’s also worth noting that each USB-C port can deliver up to 67W of power in single-port charging, compared to 22.5W for USB-A ports. However, if you are powering two or more devices, USB-C port 1 will provide a higher power output than port 2 – specifically, port 1 provides 42W, while port 2 and the USB-A slot each provide 12W if you’ recharge three times. However, if you’re trying to charge multiple power-hungry devices, this might not be enough firepower for you. Instead, it might be worth considering options with a higher overall power output, e.g. Anker Prime 100W GaN Wall Charger (3-port).
So the performance here is solid, but is it designed for excellence? Well, I’d say it has a simple yet effective build. Unlike Anker’s Prime products, this isn’t a GaN charger, so it won’t be a high-tech, compact option, but it’s still a pretty good size for its price. The charger’s prongs are also foldable, which is ideal if you want to put it in your pocket rather than annoyingly poking your leg. From the looks of it, this isn’t a particularly interesting charger. The case has a matte black finish, with the Anker logo on top and three charging ports, each well spaced. There’s no color option, which might be a good choice, especially considering the black colorway is a bit bland.
But overall, this is a very solid wall charger. Of course, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, doesn’t have a flashy design, and doesn’t offer sky-high maximum power output. But what you get is reliable three-port charging, a foldable design, and a sturdy USB-C to USB-C cable, all at a very reasonable price. So if you’re looking for a cheap multi-device plug, this is a worthy option.
