UGreen Uno Charger 100W review: meet your charming charging companion
UGreen Uno Charger 100W Review
Have you ever wished your charger could express your deepest, most heartfelt emotions? Maybe you want to know how it really feels when it powers your devices? Well, maybe you haven’t. But even so, the UGreen Uno Charger 100W is sure to put a smile on your face with its charming look and ultra-fast charging capabilities, making it stand out in the highly competitive market.
The amazing thing about the UGreen Uno Charger 100W is that you get four charging ports, three of which are USB-C and one is USB-A. This means that even if your phone, laptop, wireless headphones, and tablet (just as an example) need charging, you can have them all rejuvenated at the same time. However, it’s worth mentioning that the UGreen Uno Charger 100W doesn’t come with any charging cable, so you’ll need to buy it separately.
So how does it charge? Very good indeed. I try to charge Samsung The Galaxy A35 charges via the USB-C port, while also charging three other devices in the remaining slots. Fortunately, it returned to full power within the expected time frame of 1 hour and 30 minutes – which is consistent with some The best iPhone chargers and The best Android phone chargers. However, if you don’t use all the ports, the power output can be scaled to meet your device’s requirements. For example, the two USB-C ports on the top can each provide up to 100W of power (if only one is used at a time), which is a good choice if you want to charge more demanding devices.
But honestly, reader, I know why you’re here…you want to hear Uno Charger’s emotional display. And the effect is very good. Chargers are full of emotions – from joy, to surprise, to blushing. There’s more, too, such as the Uno Charger sometimes showing a eating animation when in use, or showing a “cool” emoji when the device is fully charged. Am I easily amused? Maybe so, but given that this is just a charger, I appreciate the personality UGreen put into this product.
Other design choices are powerful, too. The USB port is conveniently placed on top of the robot, and it’s overall a pretty compact charger considering the amount of power it can provide. Although the prongs are not foldable, you can insert them into something like a sheath – or should I say the lower half of the robot. That’s right: when you remove the charger from the lower half, you actually remove his legs and feet. A bit mean indeed.
So, I don’t really have any complaints. I don’t think the display is super bright, so it might be a little harder to determine the robot’s mood at more awkward angles. It might also be interesting if there was a button to manually change emojis, or even see battery usage between different ports – but these are very nitpicky complaints/suggestions.
Finally, I know this may not be the cheapest charger on the market, but for value, it performs well. For example, Anker The Prime 100W GaN Wall Charger (3-port) has one less port, the same maximum power output, but lacks any kind of display – not to mention it has a much higher price tag. Overall, you get a top-notch product with the UGreen Uno Charger 100W – great performance, versatile charging options, great value, and a fun, original design. Things really aren’t getting better.
