Belinda Moore appointed head of women’s rugby in Wales
Former Premier League Women’s Rugby (PWR) chief executive Belinda Moore is on a mission to help transform rugby in Wales.
Moore has been appointed head of women’s rugby at the Wales Rugby Union (WRU) in a high-profile new role.
She will first serve in the role on an interim basis for nine months and then help appoint a permanent successor.
Moore will work closely with the new Wales Women’s head coach, whose appointment will be announced within days following the departure of Aoine Cunningham.
Her other responsibilities include improving pathways into professional rugby, player contracts and preparations for the Rugby World Cup, which starts in August.
