Can’t Afford to Fly to Rome? Build the Trevi Fountain at Home
Whether you’re looking for a new addition to your LEGO Architecture collection or you’re a lover of all things Rome, you’re in luck: the newly releasedLEGO Architecture Trevi Fountain (21062) It’s sure to brighten up your table or shelf.
The 1,880-piece replica of this 18th-century Roman landmark is 38 cm (15 inches) wide and 25 cm (10 inches) high. The facade of the main building has exquisite details, with light pink accents adding a touch of warmth.
The new minifigure statues are expressive (even without faces), and the horse-headed seahorse sculpture looks particularly dynamic. Due to the presence of multiple layers of transparent bricks, the water has a real sense of depth.
This isn’t the first time LEGO has made a model of the Trevi Fountain; a 2014 version only included less than half of the parts included in the new set. So far, the new ones are bigger and bolder.
