“This is the game we have in hand so we are focusing on that game first. Then we have the South Wales derby which is obviously an important game for us, our fans and everyone associated with our club.
“We still have a lot of games to pick up points. As long as we continue to perform like we have over the past few weeks, we will pick up points and start moving up the table.”
Lars’ appearance at Sheffield United was his 400th game for Cardiff, having spent his entire senior career with the club apart from a loan spell at Yeovil Town more than a decade ago. .
