Newly sworn-in President John Dramani Mahama has announced his key cabinet appointments, appointing Kasir Ato Fosun as Finance Minister and John Abdulai Ginapol as Energy Minister , Dominic Akuritinga Ayin, Minister of Justice and Minister of Justice. Mahama, who returned to the presidency after serving in office from 2012 to 2017, campaigned on a promise to streamline his cabinet and make appointments quickly.
