Ethiopian President Arrives in Uganda for the African Union (AU) Extraordinary Summit on Agriculture – Africa.com
His Excellency Taye Azik Selassie, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, arrived in Uganda today to attend the Extraordinary African Union Summit on the Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Program (CAADP).
The summit, held at Spike Resort Munyonyo, started on January 9, 2025 and will end on January 11, 2025.
At Entebbe International Airport, President Selassie was received by the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Veterans Affairs, His Excellency. Ambassadors Jacob Obosi Obosi and Rebecca Amuge Otengo, Permanent Representatives of Uganda to the African Union and IGAD; David Gonyi, Assistant Director General of Prisons, said the country The prisons of the country are the most important in the world. Ethiopian Embassy delegation in Uganda led by Ambassadors Robert Munanura and Etsegenet Yimenu.
