Elon Musk’s ‘disinfromaiton’ is endangering me, says Jess Phillips

The tech billionaire and adviser to US President-elect Donald Trump has called Phillips a “rape genocide apologist” and said she should be jailed.
When asked whether threats to her own safety had increased since his social media posts and whether safeguards had been put in place for her safety, Phillips responded “yes.”
She said the experience was “very, very, very tiring” but that she had “accepted the fate of being a woman fighting violence against women and girls”.
She added: “I’m no stranger to people who don’t know what they’re talking about and try to silence women like me.”
Musk’s intervention came in response to Phillips’ rejection of a government request for a public inquiry into child sexual exploitation in Oldham, prompting calls from Britain’s Conservatives and Reform parties for a national inquiry into grooming rings.
Her decision was made in October, but was first reported by British news earlier this year and then reported by Musk on his social media platform X.
Phillips defended the government’s decision not to hold a national inquiry, arguing that local inquiries, such as the one held in Telford, would be more effective in bringing about change.
