Washington — President Biden awards Presidential Medal of Freedomthe nation’s highest civil honor, Hillary Clinton The White House announced Saturday there were 18 other people who “made America a better place.”

The award will be presented at the White House later Saturday.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is “awarded to an individual who has made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values ​​or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant social, public or private endeavors,” according to the White House.

The award was established in 1963 by the late President John F. Kennedy, brother of Robert F. Kennedy.
