King deeply saddened by Briton Edward Pettifer’s death
King Charles is deeply saddened by the death of a British man killed in a vehicle attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, Buckingham Palace sources said.
Edward Pettifer, 31 – who is Named by Metropolitan Police on Saturday morning – Believed to be the stepson of Alexandra Pettifer, also known as Tiggy, who cared for Princes William and Harry when they were children.
Royal sources told the BBC that the king had contacted Pettyfer’s family to express his personal condolences.
In tributes, Mr Pettyfer’s family described him as “a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to many”.
