People run to escape New Orleans truck attack
U.S. authorities said they believed multiple people were involved in the New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans that killed 15 people and injured dozens more.
A pickup truck plowed into a crowd in the city’s French Quarter and the driver was identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a U.S. Army veteran from Texas who was later involved in a shootout with police Death.
CCTV footage showed people running away as the attack took place.
