Murder inquiry as man, 18, fatally stabbed
A murder investigation has been launched after an 18-year-old man was stabbed to death.
Emergency services were called to Heanor Road, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, at 20:20 GMT on Saturday following reports of a stabbing.
Derbyshire Police said the man was found on the road with stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Inspector Claudia Musson, who is leading the investigation, said: “It is still in the early stages of the investigation and we urge anyone with information that may assist our investigation to contact us urgently.”
