Viewing of State House Christmas Decorations Attracts Record Crowd
In an unprecedented move, the Office of the President hosted the first public viewing of Christmas decorations in the State Capitol Courtyard and Gardens on Saturday, December 21, from 7 to 11 pm, attracting a crowd of more than 1,500 people.
Visitors of all ages flock to the gates, eager to experience the State Capitol grounds in all their dazzling holiday glory. The children were especially excited and enjoyed not only the magical light show but also the live vehicle display.
The highlight of the evening was the appearance of President Wawel Ramkalavan and the First Lady, Mrs. Linda Ramkalavan, who personally welcomed the attendees and shared holiday greetings with the guests.
The event was held on the evenings of December 21st and 22nd and was well received by the public. With such a huge success, the Christmas Open House is sure to become a beloved annual tradition at the State Capitol during the holiday season in the future.
