Everton Women sign France striker Kelly Gago for undisclosed fee
Everton have signed French striker Kelly Gago from Nantes for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old will join the Blues when the Women’s Super League transfer window opens on January 1, subject to international clearance.
Gago was the first signing made by the club’s new owners, the Friedkin Group, on Thursday.
“I chose to come to Everton because I liked what (head coach) Brian (Sorensen) was saying and the way his team was playing,” Gago said.
“The way they attack as one and defend as one makes me want to sign and (I want to) help achieve the goals of the club.”
