Matheus Cunha: Wolves striker charged with misconduct by FA
Matthews Cunha has been charged with misconduct by the FA following Wolves’ 2-1 loss to Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The Brazilian striker Wolves equalize at Molineux, “Alleged misconduct” during the confrontation at the final whistle.
Post-match footage showed Cunha elbowing a member of the Ipswich security team in the back of the head before snatching the glasses from the man’s face.
The 25-year-old has until December 19 to respond to the charges.
The defeat was Wolves’ 11th in the Premier League this season and saw the club sack head coach Gary O’Neill and his backroom staff.
