Ministry of Agriculture Distributes Chickens to Farmers
As part of its efforts to ensure access to nutritious food for all people and around the world, the Department of Agriculture distributed more than 161,000 chickens to poultry farmers at fair prices.
According to the Seed Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, this distribution was carried out based on the specific needs of 203 poultry farmers in various regions.
The distribution includes more than 78,000 chickens to farmers in the central region, more than 55,000 chickens in the southern region, more than 31,000 chickens in the Anseba region, more than 14,000 chickens in the North Red Sea region and about 1,200 chickens in the Gash-Barka region. Chicken.
Benefiting farmers expressed gratitude for the support and pledged to expand poultry farming programmes. They also pledged to promote market stability by increasing the availability of poultry products.
