Premiership Women’s Rugby: Hope Rogers scores four tries as Exeter Chiefs stay top with win against Trailfinders
Exeter Chiefs retained top spot in the Premier League women’s rugby table with a 41-22 victory over Trailfinders, while second-placed Saracens were beaten by Gloucester- Gloucester-Harpury was defeated in the game.
Prop Hope Rogers had four tries for the Chiefs, the first two of which came after the home side twice took the lead when Grace White and Kate Evans crossed the line.
Rogers scored his third shot in the 34th minute to give Exeter their first lead, and teammate Sabrina Pring also scored a touchdown, giving the visitors a 22-10 lead at halftime.
Evans and Rogers exchanged tries before Emily Tutosi and Katie Buchanan headed to Exeter, while Annabel Mehta added a try for the Blazers.
