Australia vs India: Rain ruins day one of third Test in Brisbane
The only action came in the morning’s two overs after India won the toss.
The game was canceled more than an hour before its scheduled end time.
The remaining matches will start at the earlier time of 09:50 (23:50 GMT), with 98 rounds scheduled each day, but with heavy rainfall forecast.
India must win at least two of the last three Tests to secure a place in the World Test Championship final at Lord’s in June.
Defending champions Australia will reach the final if they win the remaining two Tests.
