Neil Lennon: Dunfermline Athletic appoint former Celtic manager until summer
Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon was named “the initial short-term deal until the end of the season.”
Michael Tidser fired for four days.
Lennon himself was fired by Rapid Bucharest at the top Romanian flight club in just three months.
Tidser’s head was also short, just 60 days after Dunfermline paid compensation with League 1 neighbor Kelty Hearts.
Lennon sat in the second inning of the Scottish Championship, relegated to the playoff position and won only once in eight games.
The 53-year-old former Northern Ireland midfielder has two spells, serving as Celtics manager, and also responsible for Heberia, Bolton Wanderers and Cyprus club Omonia.
Lennon is responsible for Dunfermline’s first game to travel to the third Australian United every week on Saturday.
