The autonomous SmartDesk 5 is a beautiful table. It is both stylish and modern and has been designed to attract a market of creativity and “smooth technology”. On the purchase page, many large technicians have purchased this table from Google, Microsoft, Meta, Apple, etc.
Over the past few years, the concept of “what Apple is going to do” has been a common way to describe things. Apple has an outstanding way of designing the simplicity and simplicity of its products. I’ve seen Apple or Google post this table. It’s clean, well designed, minimal, smooth, elegant and beautiful, and in this respect it’s one of them The best standing table I’ve tested it.

Autonomous smartdesk 5: Unboxing and first impression
The packaging of the autonomous Smartdesk 5 is very organized and very safe. All parts are in good condition without scratches or debris dents. In a box, I got the desktop itself. In another, I get the legs, feet and other accessories.
Right now, I like how smooth the desktop texture is and how simplified the setup is. All the necessary parts are in the box, although I use the electric screwdriver kit to speed it up.
Once I put everything together, I quickly grabbed a mouse to check the effect of the tracking, as it was something that was autonomously promoted. The rat on the surface of the table is standard, responsive and uncomfortable. Of course, I still prefer the desktop feel, but it may be due to familiarity. I tried Apple Magic Mouse, Logitech MX Master 3, Logitech MX anywhere, mouse from Protoarc, and even Dell mouse. All of this is well tracked on the surface of the Smart Table 5.
I’m glad to see C-shaped legs on this table. I’ve tried many different desktop types and for most people, C-shaped is the way to go. It helps to get your legs out of trouble…well, legs…and then push them back so you don’t hit your knees while twisting on a rotating ergonomic chair.
Another thing I like is cable management. I’m used to making it a feature or add-on that has to be assembled or figured out independently. Ergonofis has some products, and I already like more of Flexispot, but they are often add-ons. However, with Smart Desk 5, it is built-in. There is a nice drop-down style that covers things up very well. However, I had to add another electric bar to the back of the table because my desk usually needs more than four sockets, but, hey, that’s me. You can run a simpler table. I want to prepare anything for me and offer multiple purposes.
The last thing I mentioned on my first impression is controlling the surface. This reminds me of Beflo Tenon or several other control panels that move to that surface rack. While these are great, don’t wear chairs, using a table is a completely different experience. For example, if you are someone using a table mat, you need to be careful not to put this mat now, or if you put your arms on the table, lean against the table, or put things on your desk, all of which are things you need to pay attention to except work, but all in all, it’s not a bad thing.

Autonomous smartdesk 5: In use
I’ve been rotating for a while and so far it’s been great. In some cases, the touch screen takes a second response, but other than that, the table is great. As you can see in the photo, I set it up as a single Benq RD320UA monitor, Grovemade Studio Pad and vertical laptop holder, Logitech MX Master 3, SM3 Slim mechanical backlit Blu-ray keyboard, cheap desktop shelves, Amazon’s cheap desktop shelves, and a few other accessories.
I wanted to create a relaxed and versatile workspace for one of my team members, and the Smartdesk 5 is the ideal candidate. It is decent, not too big or too small, and the materials are beautiful in most places. I’ve set this table in a few different places to test it, and in all of these places this gray looks great.
As I mentioned, sometimes touch control can be slow. Anyway, it’s great to have three high presets. I could set this table at an excellent sitting height, a good “working on height”, and a wonderful “stand and work” height. Sadly, I wish I had moved the studio pad to more hair, but it stopped at the top of the built-in keyboard. But this is not the end of the world.
While the materials used, sizes, smooth mechanisms, stylish tops and rounded edges are all great, the actual function of this table is cable management. As I mentioned, it is not only great, it is easy to expand. I added a power strip to the back of the table (admittedly, I had one from flexispot) to give me more sockets as I knew this would be a powerful multi-purpose table. Beyond that, the drop-down list is for quick access and adjustments, having the location of the wrapping cable and lifting it all up and dragging it away is pretty, and I hope other desk companies are paying attention.
