Scottish Premiership: How does top-six race look with three games to go?
Kilmarnock’s late draw against Hibs put them in hunting, but they need to win seven points against St Mirren and St Motherwell before visiting Celtic Park.
There are three points above them, St Mirren and County have more shots, while Opta will dive into the first half at 9.5% and 4.3% respectively.
Partner manager Stephen Robinson was left to a game at Fir Park on Saturday, with his team splurged on a two-goal lead.
“The top six still exists, but if we don’t win 2-0, we won’t be in the top six.”
“We got in with a 2-0 score and we had total control over the next five minutes and we simply couldn’t manage the ball well and wouldn’t clear the ball for the second goal.”
Meanwhile, when asked about the team’s top six prospects, county owner Don Cowie insists he plays one game at a time.
“My only focus is Dundee United, and this is our next game in two weeks,” he said.
“The information has been consistent. We just focus on ourselves and try to get as many points as possible – this is our next one.
“We have been in great shape since Boxing Day. We think this is an opportunity to continue (oppose the heart) and we didn’t manage to do that.”
