Premiership Cup final: Exeter 14-48 Bath – Blue, Black and Whites end trophy drought
Bath ended a 17-year trophy drought when they overwhelmed Exeter in Sandy Park to win the Premier League Rugby Cup.
Since the 2008 European Challenge Cup, the second half of the clinical exhibition has won their first silverware and the first domestic trophy in 29 years.
Christ Tshiunza and Scott Sio were tightly for the Chiefs in the first half, but Tom Carr-Smith and Joe Cokanasiga responded with Ciaran Donoghue’s penalty kick 17-14 ahead of halftime.
Dunn’s second ended his impressive final quarter before Thomas Du Toit and Tom Dunn stride violently as Bath evacuated and then tried from Ewan Richards and Louis Schreuder.
This is probably the first part of a third of the blue, black and white guys who are in the Premier League and in the final 16 shots of the European Challenge Cup.
