New Zealand beat Pakistan in first T20 in Christchurch

New Zealand beat Pakistan in the opening ceremony of the Christchurch series T20.

Pakistan was hit 91 in the Hagley Oval (their lowest T20 total in New Zealand) and the host ran towards the target with a distance of 9.5 points.

In the first match of the new Salman Agha’s Bakistan, they lost two openers – Mohammad Haris and Hasan Nawaz, lost 3-3 in the Ducks, three games and 14-4 after six hits, with only three batsmen reaching doubles.

The matchmaker Kyle Jamieson scored three wickets 3-8 in three of the first four wickets, while new ball partner Jacob Duffy won the championship 4-14.

Khushdil Shah, who hit 32 out of 30 balls, is the only batsman with more than 18.

Opening match Tim Seifert pushed the New Zealand chase with 29 points with 29 points, thanks to 39 uninterrupted matches between Finn Allen and Tim Robinson.

The second T20 of five games was held in Dunedin on Tuesday.

Pakistan’s previous T20 score in New Zealand was at its latest conference in January 2024, when they chased 92 times in Christchurch.
