U.S. launches multiple strikes against Houthi targets as Trump says attacks on American vessels “must stop”
President Trump says the United States will use “overwhelming lethal force” until Hossis Stop the transport attack.
“Today, I order the U.S. military to launch decisive and powerful military operations against Houthi terrorists in Yemen. They have carried out relentless campaigns for piracy, violence and terrorism, targeting Americans and other, other, ships, aircraft and drones and drones,” Mr. Trump wrote On social media.
He said the ruthless attacks cost billions of dollars in the U.S. and global economies while putting innocent lives at risk. He also added: “From today, your attack must stop.”
A U.S. official confirmed a strike on CBS News on Saturday, saying reports of the Sana’a strike were just the beginning.
