Premier League Darts results: Gerwyn Price beats Luke Littler to win night six in Nottingham
Gerwyn Price won the second game of the 2025 Premier League Darts by defeating Luke Littler 6-3 in Nottingham’s six-game finals.
The Welshman has been excellent throughout the night and has now won six consecutive games against the juniors.
Compared to Littler, he averaged 94.10, but he is more clinical about doubles.
The 2021 world champion broke Littler’s second place, but the 18-year-old fell 4-3 on the seventh leg.
Price, however, went straight backwards and then ended, joining Littler and Luke Humphries, with two wins in this year’s game.
“I’m trying to be more positive, it shows on the board. I’ve been negative to myself in recent years,” Price told Sky Sports.
“I might say I like it and love it, but it’s hard in the background. I’m glad to win tonight. Luke’s another win because I don’t think it will last for a long time.
“He is the best player in the world and he will have been there for a few years.
“I think he will beat Phil Taylor’s 16 world champions. No one on PDC will stop him – only the younger generation of JDC can stop him.
“We can’t stop him – he’s just getting better and better.”
