Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro: Two Minutes Review
The Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro toothbrush from Swiss company Curaden is a sound brush that looks good, has a considerable amount of power and provides a comprehensive cleaning. Its octagonal shape and clinical white and grey remind me of satellites or space stations, the electric toothbrush itself is undoubtedly a high fee and is a contender for the title. The best electric toothbrush I’ve tried it in 2025 and despite its high price, it offers a premium cleaning.
Curaprox is carefully designed and functional. In the box, you get a phone, three brush heads containing soft curry fiber, a plastic suitcase and USB-A “Nub” type charging stands that make up many electric toothbrushes. It takes 10 hours to charge, and the brush will charge it in full for 60 minutes, which is equivalent to about two weeks of use. Like many toothbrushes, Curaden recommends that you don’t keep the Curaprox constantly and charge it only if the battery drops below 20%, as shown by the LEDs running on the side of your phone.
Overall, this is a very nice package, although it will be great at this price if the case is also charged so you don’t have to worry about it while on the go. I think given its two-week battery life, the idea is that you should make sure the brush is fully charged before the holidays.
The trio of the brush head includes for cleaning the power supply, one for sensitive cleaning and one for precise cleaning. The single brush head really allows you to match between your teeth and gums, and I was impressed by me: what others bend forward is backward to explain the differences in use.
The Hydropower Pro is designed for professional-level cleaning (which electric toothbrushes aren’t what, according to marketers?), three brush heads and seven strengths plus seven strengths, meaning you get a total of 21 custom cleaning modes. There is also a lot of useful information in the manual, which can make people very interesting and educational in terms of how to use the brush. I would rather read the manual than have to follow the instructions in the app every day – I have too many healthy apps on my phone.
Replacement brush heads can be purchased from Curaprox in two packaging, just like the brush itself, they are not cheap, at $25.20/£24.50/au $42.00 Amazon.
According to the Decibel X App, this powerful motor can whisper from the highest location to annoying loud sounds – over 65 decibels, which is louder than the 53 decibels I recorded for the same advanced Philips Sonicare 7100. However, this is a good indication of the cleaning function, and in my testing I found myself frequently using a single brush to clean the gum line – a great design element that I would like to see more manufacturers adopt.

Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro: Price and Availability
- $199.99 / £190 / au $299
- Replacement of brush head costs $25.20 / £24.50 / au $42.00
- Not cheap, but high quality
The Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro is available in the US at $199.99, £190 in the UK and AU $299 in Australia, the replacement brush head packaging offers two identical heads, so if you want backup power cleaning, sensitive or single cleaning, you will need to pay twice. cunning.
As you might have collected, despite the more expensive toothbrushes on the market, this is undoubtedly a quality option and a continuous investment in your oral health. It’s a very well-designed system that you’ll definitely do worse – I think AI-guided and app-based rewards are almost never used on more expensive toothbrushes, so it’s usually unnecessary – but the Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro represents the cap I think anyone should be prepared to pay for electric toothbrushes.

How do I test it
I used the Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro for a week. I charged it using plugin base, used all seven modes and all three brush heads, and used a decibel meter application to calculate the loudness of the brush compared to other brushes on the market.
