Africa’s Top 5 Least Stressed Nations Ranked

A global sentiment report by CEOWORLD magazine ranked Seychelles as the least stressed country in Africa in 2025, ranking 57th in the world. The study was conducted in 197 countries and assessed stress based on work, money, social and family life, and health and safety. Mauritius (77th), Gabon (87th) and Equatorial Guinea (94th) are followed by the most relaxed countries on the mainland, with Potswana (102nd) taking the top five. Meanwhile, Burundi was named the most stressed country in Africa, mainly due to economic and political turmoil. The report highlights the various living conditions in Africa, with some countries providing tranquil environments and economic stability, while others continuing to struggle with turmoil and difficulties.
