South Africa and India Schools of Government sign Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen capacity building and public sector excellence
The National Institute of Government (NSG) and the Institute of Administrative Staff of India (ASCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote collaborations in capacity-building, research, consulting and knowledge-sharing to enhance governance and public sector performance.
The partnership will enable both agencies to leverage their expertise in training, research, consulting services and professional development to empower civil servants with the necessary skills and capabilities to advance national development.
Key areas of cooperation under this Memorandum of Understanding include:
- Capacity building and training programs for public sector professionals.
- Joint research programs to inform policy and governance best practices.
- Consulting and consulting services.
- Creative sharing and web platforms.
- Exchange plan.
The collaboration between the two institutions will take various forms, such as convenient field research tours, seminars, seminars and information sharing to promote co-learning and professional growth.
Professor Busani Ngcaweni, President of NSG, said: “Partnerships are the focus of NSG as they enable us to expand the depth of training delivery and diversity and allow access to expertise that we do not have. Professor Ngcaweni added that the signing of the partnership marks the beginning of a strategic partnership that will enhance the capacity and capacity of the public sector, promote good governance, and promote best practices in international administration and management. The signing of the MoU is a milestone in the growing bilateral relations between South Africa and India. These relations were established in the fight against apartheid, and India became one of the first countries in the world to impose sanctions on apartheid regime and cause the issue of apartheid to cause the United Nations and other relevant international platforms.
