Chris Eubank Jr: British fighter fined for slapping rival Conor Benn with egg

As the two prepare for mandatory face-to-face, Eubank generates an egg from his pocket and hits his British opponent with his left hand.
Benn and his father Nigel are beside him, losing control, and both boxers are blocked by security guards.
The British Boxing Commission said in a statement that Eubank, 35, had violated Section 25 and was related to misconduct.
The incident occurred in Manchester on February 25, and the two promoted their Fighting at Tottenham Stadium next month.
When Benn failed to conduct voluntary drug tests, a scheduled battle took place between October 2022, a two-year battle with anti-doping authorities before his suspension was cancelled in November.
Benn has been denied intentional stimulant, and both fighters have undergone tests by the voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA).
The World Boxing Commission (WBC) said in an independent report in February 2023 that the 28-year-old drug test was not intentional and could have been caused by a “height rise” in the egg.
“Obviously, egg contamination was the reason why he failed the drug test twice. So I contaminated him with one egg.”
