Women’s FA Cup semi-final draw: Manchester United to face Manchester City, Chelsea host Liverpool
Holders United will head to Manchester City in the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals, while Chelsea will host Liverpool.
Manchester’s rivals also met in the League Cup quarterfinals in January, with Manchester City winning 2-1, booking a spot in the final against Chelsea next Saturday.
Liverpool is the first FA Cup semi-final since the 2016-17 season.
The two relationships are scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 13 and will be broadcast live on the BBC.
The final, held on Sunday, May 18, will also be broadcast live on the BBC.
Last year’s Winner United took their place in the final four seasons for the third straight season Beat the champion Sunderland 3-1 Saturday.
In the first match of Sunday’s third-final City is Aston Villa 2-0 winner.
Current Women’s Super League Leader Chelsea beats Crystal Palace at the bottom of the table 1-0, and Liverpool 1-0 away from home Arsenal Provided by Daphne van Domselaar’s own goal.
If City and Chelsea win their respective connections and meet in the finals, it means they will face each other for the sixth time in all competitions this season.
Two League Cup finalists will also face each other in the Champions League quarterfinals, either side of the WSL meeting later this month.
