‘The changing room is going crazy’ – Forest on ‘verge of something special’
Less than 20 years ago, Forest became the first European Cup champion club to enter the third floor of the domestic league pyramid.
They spent three seasons in the first league before returning to the 2008-09 championship, but over the next 10 seasons, the Reds will enter the first 10 seasons in the first 10 as they work hard to return to the Promises Land of the Premier League.
Managers Karanka, Martin O’Neill, Sabri Lamouchi and Chris Huughton all walked through the revolving doors of the city ground, buying the club in May 2017, Huughton scored just one point in the first seven games of 2021-22, while they lost only one point in the first seven games of 2021-22, and their job was only 2021-22-their worst was a game, and it was the worst one.
Marinakis’ next appointment – Welshman Steve Cooper – proved to be transformative.
Cooper guided the forest from the feet of the second floor to the first top six in 11 years, ending the club’s Premier League exile with a victory over Huddersfield Town in the 2022 playoff final.
He then managed to keep the forest’s head on the water in his top return in 2022-23, but after five losses in six games, he released his duties in December 2023, with Nuno announcing his successor the next day.
On the last day of last semester, after running in mathematical safety, the forest became stronger and stronger under the former Wolf and Tottenham Hotspur boss.
Paul Hart said: “The belief the manager gives to the players is amazing. “They are probably everyone’s favorite second team.
“There are still a lot of fans who have witnessed two European Cup titles (1979 and 1980). It’s been a long time. Fans will definitely like it.”
