Incarcerated workers produce $2 billion in goods and $9 billion in services each year. However, not all incarcerated people are paid for their labor, which can benefit people inside and outside the prison wall. Correspondent Luke Burbank looks at the legal way of indentured enslavement in the United States and has a conversation with incarcerated workers at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution who have made the popular denim worker brand Blues a popular denim workwear.
