World Grand Prix snooker: Neil Robertson beats Shaun Murphy in decider

Neil Robertson beat Masters champion Shaun Murphy 6-5 from 5 to reach the World Grand Prix final in Hong Kong.

The Australian lefty knocked down in three centuries, including resting 114 in the decision frame to win his semifinals.

Robertson, 43, will play world No. 1 Judd Trump or 2015 world champion Stuart Bingham in Sunday’s Best 19 Framework Final.

Robertson ranked 19th in the world rankings before the World Grand Prix, but his final run has raised his hopes of returning to the top 16, thus earning an automatic seat at the World Championships in April.
