Six Nations: Fraser Dingwall can have Rodri-like impact with England, says Alex Mitchell
Scrum-Half Alex Mitchell said Fraser Dingwall could have an impact on England like Rodri had at Manchester City.
Northampton Saints Centre, 25, will win England’s third title against Italy in Six Nations on Sunday When he replaced Henry Slade.
“He’s like Rodri of Manchester City,” Mitchell said, referring to the midfielder of the team who won the Premier League title.
“He doesn’t always get great goals, assists or anything, but he’s the mid-level tay bar on your team and does all the great things. He’s similar to that.
“He is a good player and a lot of times he doesn’t notice because he does a good job.
“He’s like glue – he’s great. His speech on the court is second to none. He talks to you in the game and he’s quality on defense. Hopefully we’ll see some of it (opposite Italy).”
