Okonjo-Iweala, Oteh Shine at 2025 Forbes Woman Africa Awards
At the 2025 Forbes Women’s Africa Award in Pretoria, WTO Director Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-iweala received a Lifetime Achievement Award and recognized her transformational leadership in global trade. Former World Bank Treasurer Arunma Oteh won the Decade Award for Change Manufacturer for his influential financial reform. The star-studded event pays tribute to pioneering women at the 10th Forbes Women’s Summit on the theme of “The Power of Reaching 10: Rule Breakers in Africa’s Next Chapter”. Other winners include Tiwa Savage (media icon) and Nissi Ogulu (youth icon), celebrating the reshaping of history of African women.
