Wales: World Cup 2026 qualifiers to be shown live on BBC
Every match of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications will be broadcast on TV in BBC Cymru Wales.
Craig Bellamy’s goal is to continue his brilliant start as Wales head coach by leading the men’s national team for the second straight World Cup.
The men’s national team has returned to free English-language TV for the first time since 2004, with BBC cameras set to land there in every Welsh qualifier.
The BBC’s broadcast agreement also includes the Scotland and Northern Ireland Men’s International Competition – the broadcaster has acquired all live rights in all decentralized countries in the UK for the first time.
Wales will face Belgium, northern Macedonia, Kazakhstan and Liechtonstein in the World Cup qualifying J, and they hope to ensure that matches will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico in 2026.
They opened on Saturday, March 22 (19:45 GMT) at Cardiff City Stadium against Kazakhstan – the sport will be aired on BBC One Wales and BBC Three and BBC Three and S4C.
On September 9, the friendly match between Wales and Canada vs. Canada will also be held on the BBC TV station.
