First place is Chantelle Cameron – the former undisputed world champion, with 20 victories and a draw and a fighter, and shocked the great Katie Taylor in his own backyard.
Cameron, 33, is an excellent boxer with solid jabs, timing and ability to control distance.
She won her first world championship – the WBC lightweight strap – with very little fanfare in Game 13.
She will be England’s first undisputed champion in the four belt eras, but still rarely talk about Northampton fighters.
However, Cameron’s breakthrough moment was the most emphatic way when she caused her first career failure at Taylor in 2023.
“I didn’t hesitate to put Chantelle in the first place,” Rankin said.
“They said ‘To be a man who must beat men, this also applies to women. Katie is considered one of the best female warriors in the world, perhaps ever. For Chantelle, the one who beats her was impressive.”
