‘Trump turns off Ukraine missiles’ and ‘serial spiking rapist’
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was forced to hold emergency talks with Washington after the United States cut off intelligence sharing. White House officials said the U.S. would only lift the ban on sharing data if the U.S. could “reject negotiations” with Ukraine. It also carries the story that for the first time, there were more male doctors in the UK than male doctors, which marked a shift in a traditional male-dominated career.
The Guardian decided to stop sharing intelligence with Ukraine “another serious blow to Kiev” after U.S. President Donald Trump stopped military aid. It said the White House said that if peace talks go, two bans can be lifted.
Time warned Ukrainian MPs that “more people will die” after the United States cuts. It also involves changes to sentencing guidelines that will take effect next month, under which minority and transgender offenders may be more likely to avoid jail time. It said the guidelines would require judges to consider whether the offender comes from a racial, cultural or religious minority group when deciding whether to impose custody or community sentences.
The Daily Mail spreads plan changes in sentencing guidelines, calling it a “new two-tier judicial failure.” According to the paper, conservatives believe they can open the door to the punishment of ethnic minorities and risk making the courts “anti-white and anti-Christian”. Labour Attorney General Shabana Mahmood called for the cancellation of the plan.
The Metro and several other papers cover the conviction of a serial rapist Zhenhao Zou in the London Court. The 28-year-old doctoral student was convicted of drug use and rape of 10 women and police, and believed that dozens of victims could be found.
Five years since the coronavirus pandemic began, the Daily Mirror paid tribute to the Prince of Wales’ NHS staff. The report said William said “thank you” during an emotional visit to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.
The Sun wrote that the “terrorist killer” could roam the streets of Britain freely. It said Maksim Cela, 59, of Albania, had deported taxpayers’ battles of thousands of pounds, claiming that he would be in danger of “competitive rogues” if sent home.
My paper says that cutting benefits is bigger than what Rachel Reeves promised. She is developing plans to reduce welfare spending by more than what had been said before. It added that she “decided to save” rather than resorting to a large tax increase.
According to the Daily Express, the French called the French to “turn the channel”. It said the immigrants were escorted to British rescue ships in French waters.
According to the Financial Times, investors are betting on Germany’s “sick economy” for Germany’s “historic” agreement to fund military and infrastructure development. The paper says analysts believe the plan will boost economic growth by as much as 2% next year.
“Daily Star” brought the news that “orange fireballs” were found in the sky. The arrival of some of the sun prompted the “Fun-Sponge predictors…tell us about sunburns” warnings, complaining.
Many of Thursday’s papers focused on the consequences of President Donald Trump’s decision to share intelligence with Ukraine.
The guardian called the measure a “serious blow to Kiev” and it will hinder its ability to effectively deploy remote drone strikes. “Our turn screws” is the title in the sun. It said it would reverse the measure if Ukraine signs a mineral agreement to repay billions of military aid.
The Ukrainian MP told The Times that she could not “imagine how many people pay the ultimate price for the decision”. The Financial Times said the evacuation of intelligence “has the hand that linked Kiev defeated the Russians.”
“The New Two-Level Magistrate Magistrate” is the front title of the Daily Mail. The document has spoken with shadow attorney general Robert Jenrick about the new norms in England and Wales, involving defendants with minority backgrounds. He has accused ministers of “trying to play stupidity” by staying away from measures drawn by an independent institution. He said government officials attended the meeting when the change was decided.
The front of the Daily Express comes with a photo that appears to show a French naval dinghy escorting a ship full of immigrants into British waters. The document said the pressure was intensifying the French government, asking it to abide by its speeches on the boats that crossed the channel. “Perform Los Angeles Pres!” is the title. Express argued in an editorial: “If traffic is in the opposite direction, there will be anger in Paris.” British government sources said the Home Secretary was working on “work and grafting” to address smugglers and “work closely” with her French counterparts.

Prince of Wales and staff to Reading Hospital
My paper says that the document has been seen showing that the Prime Minister has cut funds up to £1.4 billion to modernize schools and hospitals to fund wage agreements consistent with the union. The document has spoken with shadow education minister Neil O’Brien, who accused the government of hoping “no one will notice”. “We need modern, safe places where staff can provide first-class care for patients,” said the NHS provider representing hospital trusts. The Ministry of Health said the government’s “change plan will bring the NHS back on its feet.” An education spokesman said some projects will be postponed but denied that the new teaching buildings were affected.
Several papers have photos of the Prince of Wales during a visit to a hospital in Reading Hospital. The Daily Mirror said he fulfilled the sacrifices made by NHS staff during the pandemic. The Daily Telegraph said he recommended “mandatory rest” for health workers during their careers to prevent burnout. The report said that when the prince was invited to a yoga class, the “lighter” time came. The article said he told the lecturer that he could not bend over and that he would “sit while sitting in a corner twisted.”
