Six Nations 2025: ”The pressure’s on Scotland, not us’ – Wales scrum coach Jones
Jones believes Wales can win at Murrayfield and record its first international victory since October 2023.
“There is no point there, awe of them,” Jones said.
“They have a great side to some of the outstanding players.
“I know I said they were the best Scotland team ever, but now we have some confidence and feelings.
“We want the monkeys to go out of our backs, we are going to win there. We are not going to go there to make up for the numbers.”
Jones said Wales used to enjoy playing in the Scottish Capital.
“It’s a great place, so let’s do it,” Jones said.
“Welsh travels well. Max Boyce wrote a song about this song, so they always travel there well. Traditionally, we did a great job of them, at home and outside.
“I played 12 games against them and lost one game, even though that was a long time ago. We wouldn’t be having a hard time there.”
