OCP Africa Presents Innovative Solutions To Support Farmers At Africa Agri Expo 2025
OCP Africa, a subsidiary of the OCP Group, a world leader in the phosphate and derivatives market, demonstrates several key initiatives aimed at empowering African farmers through tailored agricultural solutions.
At the heart of OCP’s African products is its high-quality fertilizers, including triple superphosphate (TSP). This highly phosphate product is critical to improving soil fertility and increasing crop yields, thus solving critical agricultural challenges.
OCP Africa also highlights its commitment to peasant education and support through the OCP School Lab Program, which has provided interactive training and agronomic advice to thousands of farmers in various African countries.
The initiative aims to enable farmers to gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in agriculture. In addition, OCP Africa proposed “Farmer Hub” Programs, including local radio stations, provide farmers with direct access to training rooms, soil analysis laboratories, greenhouses and basic agricultural inputs (such as fertilizers, seeds and agrochemicals).
The African Agricultural Fair is a major agricultural trade fair held in Nairobi, Kenya. It is considered the largest agricultural event in Africa, with agribusinesses and agricultural professionals coming together to showcase the latest products, technologies and innovations.
The event, held at KICC from February 19-20, is a platform for proposing important initiatives, including OCP Africa’s Agribooster program, which aims to enhance farmers’ access to important resources for agricultural efforts.
