Emma Raducanu could face world number three Coco Gauff at Indian Wells

UK’s Emma Raducanu will play the world’s third-ranked Goco Gauff in the second round of the Indian Wells – if she can beat Japan’s Moyuka Uchijima in the first round.

Raducanu is planning to compete on Wednesday’s Championship Opening Day at 52 Uchijima.

It will be the second-first game in the UK since the ordeal of stalking at the Dubai Tennis Championships last week.

The former U.S. Open champion was shaken after a man “expressed a fixed behavior” in the second round.

The man was later detained and given Restriction order, Dubai police said.

After the incident, Raducanu considered whether to go to the United States to compete in a tough competition, but had decided to participate.

In the men’s draw, Novak Djokovic’s second round opponent may be Australian Nick Kyrgyz.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion is also expected to meet with Carlos Alcaraz in the last eight games and repeat its Australian Open quarterfinals.

Andy Murray flew to the United States to continue his coaching position as Djokovic, and the two went to the trial at the Australian Open in January.
