Trudeau to bring up Trump’s threat to annex Canada in meeting with King Charles

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be with King Charles IIIThe country’s head of state will discuss on Monday the threat of U.S. President Donald Trump to make Canada the 51st state.

King is criticized for keeping silent about Trump’s threat to Trump Canadian attachments.

Trudeau said in London on Sunday that he would discuss important issues for Canadians with Charles and said: “Now, nothing is more important for Canadians than to stand up for our sovereignty and our independence as a nation.”

Charles is the head of state of Canada, and the state is a member of the former colonial Commonwealth.

Overall, Canada’s anti-private movement is small, but the monarch’s silence on Trump’s threat stimulated the conversation.

Former Alberta Prime Minister Jason Kenney said: “For Canadians, King Charles has no comment on Trump’s threat and he can only act on the advice of the Canadian Prime Minister.

Kenny posted on X: “The Canadian government should ask the head of state to emphasize Canada’s sovereignty.”

Despite some indifference to the monarchy, many marked their coins for the outline of the late Queen Elizabeth. She is the head of state in Canada that survives 45% and has visited the country 22 times as a monarch.

Charles’ visit over the years has attracted a sparse crowd

“Canadians will need to determine what King Charles III’s purpose is in the Canadian king, if he can’t even speak out for our sovereignty,” former Canadian civil servant Artur Wilczynski posted on X.

Abolishing the monarchy would mean changing the constitution. It is an inherent adventure because of how delicate it would be a country composed of English speakers, French speakers, indigenous tribes and constantly moving new immigrants.
