Liam Payne’s family criticises media for ‘indescribable damage’

Pop star Liam Payne’s family criticized the media for causing “indescribable, lasting harm” due to his death.
In a statement released Sunday morning, the family said their pain was exacerbated by the continued “focus and speculation” in the press, Paine’s youngest son Bear.
“This family has always wanted privacy to be sad about it and asks them to get space and time,” they added.
Payne died in October last year after falling from the balcony from the Casasur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. He is 31 years old.

On the night of his death, two other men remained facing charges of providing drugs to Payne.

The star’s family said in their statement that they celebrated his life “joined”.

“Liam’s death is an indescribable tragedy. It is a time of great sorrow and pain for those who know and love him. Liam should live a long life before him.
“We learned that the investigation into Liam’s death was absolutely necessary and the family recognized the work done by the Argentine authorities. However, the family accepted the decision of the Court of Appeal to dismiss all charges.
“The constant media attention and speculation along with this process make the indescribable, lasting damage to the family, especially to Liam’s son, who are trying to deal with the emotions that a child who is not seven years old must experience.
“This family has always wanted privacy to be sad about it and asks them to have the space and time to do so.
“This weekend, at the British Awards, Liam is remembered for his outstanding contribution to British music and his wider positive impact on millions of fans who worship the world. We join the celebration of his life and will always remember the joy his music brings to the world.
“Liam, you are so loved and missed.”
