URC: Ospreys stun champions Glasgow Warriors with overtime penalty
The Ospreys achieved a huge victory, giving champion Glasgow Warriors a huge victory in the United Rugby Championship due to Jack Walsh’s fine in overtime.
It put the Warriors behind Leinster 13 points, while the Ospreys improved to 11th place.
The Warriors re-entered the game after attempts by Morgan Morse, Kieran Hardy and Sam Perry.
Dan Edwards’ three conversions failed to put pressure on the advantage, and Glasgow fell into the lead thanks to efforts from Jack Mann, Patrick Schickerling.
After the break, Hardy lowered the advantage of restoring the Osprey when Cordero first put Glasgow in front, but Nathan McBeth’s attempt seemed to capture the host’s victory until Jones played a decisive kick after a turnover.
And more.
