Rangers: Familiar frailties for Barry Ferguson in Ibrox homecoming

Ferguson was increasingly tragically attracted by a tender, boring display, during which Motherwell made the most of the fantastic victory, their second in 61 league meetings in these areas.
It’s very harsh to blame Ferguson’s feet, but the short honeymoon seems to be over.
The former Ranger Captain had some serious problems to be solved, and soon–at least it looked increasingly unreliable at home.
“There is obviously an obvious problem playing at home, and it’s something that I need to sit down and really get stuck as a manager, my staff, the players need to sit down,” Ferguson said.
It is worrying for him that Ibrox is a source of solace for most of the season as he escaped Clement’s desolate Rangers at home and abroad until his term was late. The comfort of home is now broken.
What’s the problem?
“There are good players here, I’ve seen it,” Ferguson continued. “Technically, it’s very good. To play in Rangers, they need to be mentally strong. Fans ask you.”
On this evidence, the mindset has been chopped. Experienced goalkeeper Jack Butland had a poor response to the opener, except allowing Luke Armstrong to purify the opener. Like many of his teammates, his confidence looks weak.
The second time, they were brutally exposed by Motherwell’s brilliant script.
What is even more worrying about Ferguson is the lack of energy throughout the energy. It is rare to feel that the Wanderer will continue to win.
Apart from Europe, they could not win silverware, in Europe, they faced a final 16-leg test against Mourinho’s Finnabach on Thursday.

“Well, that’s what happened when you play Rangers,” Ferguson explained.
“European football is great. It’s great to participate. It’s great for the club, but your bread and butter are a home trophy.
“From a domestic perspective, this form has to be better. Europe has always been a reward. It’s great to compare with a really good team and a really good manager and a very good player, but what’s important? For me, domestic football.”
Rangers would like the rewards in European form to continue as their domestic seasons are in rags.
It’s another painful home defeat for family supporters who must hope Ferguson’s familiar face will bring short-term relief and stabilize the ship. No.
