The Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 takes portable power to new heights. It’s more than just a power station that can power iPhones while camping. This is a power station that provides operation as a backup solution for the whole family, powering the RV, powering off-grid residences, charging Tesla, and even running an industrial popcorn machine for hours (do this later).
Very similar Anker Solix’s F3800I wrote two articles on the Ecoflow Delta Pro 3, the largest product in the company’s lineup. However, this new model (third generation) has greater capacity, faster charging and improved scalability compared to the early DELTA models, making it one of the most advanced consumer power stations, an amazing choice for those who need high yields and high capacity.
Ecoflow Delta Pro 3: Price and Availability
The base price of the Delta Pro 3 is $3,699 and is currently available for sale for $3,199. Since its release, the cost has been reduced. However, it is still a premium product. Ecoflow offers some bundling options to expand the already impressive features of its flagship power station. This includes a solar panel bundle, a great dual-fuel generator bundle, and an additional battery bundle that can expand capacity to 48kWh.
Ecoflow Delta Pro 3: Unboxing and First Impression
The first thing I noticed about the Delta Pro 3 is its compact size and incredible weight. I know the battery is heavy and use large power stations regularly, but I’m still shocked. The power output that Delta Pro 3 can generate is not that overbearing. However, it weighs only over 113 pounds, so make sure you can help you move it, or you won’t go up and down stairs or load it anywhere.
I want the build quality that companies like Ecoflow expect. It also has an industrial-grade IP65-grade battery for dust and waterproofing.
Another shocking thing about the design is that it has a built-in telescope handle. I expect the wheels, mainly because I saw them in the pictures before I arrived, but also because the device is heavy. I also noticed that there is a loading handle on the top, so I hope it will be. But once I got the equipment, I saw a telescope handle coming out of the bottom of the power station, which could be transported more easily without breaking your back, moving the power station to its position on the large rear wheel.

The portable power station has a lot of batteries, so don’t expect this to be a hike. However, it is crucial to note that Ecoflow has integrated some solid wheels to get you to the power you need most. Outside the telescope handle, the Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 has an industrial-grade plastic housing that helps it withstand heavy use. And, while I don’t think anyone will intentionally take this beast out in the rain, it’s IP65 level, making it resistant to dust and water, so it’s suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Ecoflow Delta Pro 3: In use
Portable power stations are something I didn’t realize was going to use them in a lot of situations. Not only are they as useful as UPS, but they are also so powerful in strange places where you may not have the power, and even provide a port you may not have.
I’ve had many months of Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 and tested it in many cases. Some are realistic and useful to the masses, while others are the highly specialized and unique I need.
First, for the sake of discussing common uses, the power station works well as both UPS and entire home backup solutions. Of course, if you want to connect it to run the entire home with a standard socket, you will need some other parts to connect it to your home. However, if you want to run a local plug that can be plugged into this power station, you are also lucky. The unit runs at 10ms switching time UPS, which ensures interruptions to critical appliances or lights, the same.
What sets this station apart is that it is powerful enough to output large generators, but without smoke or gas. So you can get a 240V power anywhere without making room to vent your gas/diesel generator. I’ve done several tests to see what the functionality is.
I was able to push the Delta Pro 3 to Tesla (although of course, it’s not just the full capacity of the internal battery, but it adds a lot of power to the battery when it comes to the 120V wall) but I was able to run a huge industrial size bouncing house blower, even a full commercial size Popcorn Machine, which can also plug in 120V in a few hours.
The power station is amazing for off-grid power supplies, extending only by the sun and some solar panels. This may be a great option for those trying to make a fully powered small house on a van or truck. For high power anywhere, this could be an excellent choice. This is also an excellent choice for a job site.
