Laura Kaminski: Crystal Palace sack manager with club bottom of WSL
Crystal Palace sat at the bottom of the Women’s Super League and fired manager Laura Kaminski.
Kaminski led the Palace to the Women’s Championship last season and secured their promotion to WSL.
However, their first season in England’s top division was a tough match, with only one victory in 14 games.
“It was an extremely difficult decision for the club,” said Steve Parish, chairman of the Palace.
“Laura has had a huge impact since arriving in the summer of 2023, promoting the club to WSL for the first time in history.”
With eight league games left this season, the Palace’s 11th-ranked Aston Villa’s four-pointer in safety.
The Palace’s next game is against WSL’s Liverpool on Sunday.
The club said they will provide the latest news about Kaminski replacement in due course.
“Laura was all out on the court and on the court, and she was all out and thanked for her future blessings.”
Kaminski’s export is the second WSL administrator, after several days Liverpool fires Matt beard Thursday.
