Manchester City: Claudio Echeverri spoke with ‘legend’ Sergio Aguero before agreeing move
Argentina’s U20 midfielder Claudio Eceverri said he spoke with former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero before agreeing to join the Premier League club.

Former Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis made his debut on the river board in June 2023.
Echeverri scored four goals in 48 matches at the Buenos Aires Club.
Echeverri added: “Football has always been my life and my dream is to play for one of the best teams in Europe. Today, I am closer to that dream.”

City Football Director Txiki Begiristain said: “Claudio is the best talent to have come out of South America in recent years. We know that once we see his game, we want him to be a Manchester City player.”
