Glamorgan Cricket: Rachel Priest announced as first women’s head coach
Glamorgan announced that former New Zealand International Rachel Priest will be their first female coach.
The Pastor performed more than 2,600 international runs between 2007 and 2020, representing 87 one-day international white ferns and 75 T20 games.
“I’m very happy to be in this position and be part of Glamorgan’s journey in women’s cricket,” the pastor said.
“I want to help build a strong and professional environment where players can develop, enjoy cricket and take the Welsh women’s game to the next level.”
Glamorgan Completely professional in the first floor starting in 2027.
“We are excited to have Rachel stand in the game and join Glamorgan as our first female coach,” said Glamorgan Director of Cricket Mark Wallace.
“It’s an exciting time for women and girls in Wales and we look forward to Rachel being a big part of this move forward.”
