Olympic swimmer jailed for 21 years for raping teens
A former Olympic swimmer was sentenced to 21 years in prison for a sexual offence, including two teenage girls under the age of 18.
So is Anthony James, 35, from Plymouth Convicted In October, when both girls are under 16 years old, touch one girl sexually and have the other girl send him a sexually explicit photo.
The Crown Court of Plymouth learned that the crime occurred between 2012 and 2022.
James represented Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics and was training Devon and Cornwall police officers when he was arrested in January 2022.
